Online Photo Albums

An online photo album is a personal collection of digital photos that you store on First4Fotos server. You may have many online photo albums. As with physical photo albums, you can title them, rearrange photos, and view them any time you wish. You can also

• Order film-quality prints.
• Copy photos into more than one album.

Here's how it works. When you upload your digital photo files to First4Fotos, or send us film for processing, we store your pictures on our computer. First4Fotos easy-to-use tools let you arrange your photos in albums, and order prints.

Viewing an album for the first time

1. Sign in or register a free account at First4Fotos.
2. Click "My Albums".
3. When you're ready, create a new album and view your photos.

Viewing an album you have already created

1. Click "View Album" on the user home page or “My Albums ” in the left navigation bar.
2. Select the album or title you wish to view and then click “view” to see all the photos in that album or click the "view" link next to the album name.
3. Click on a photo to see a larger version with more detail.

Changing an album title

To edit the title of an album you have created:

1. Click "View Album" on the user home page or “My Albums ” in the left navigation bar.
2. Select the album or title you wish to rename and then click “rename”.
3. Enter the new album title and click “rename” to apply the new title.

Adding a photo title

To add a title to a photo or photos you have created:

1. Select the album you wish to view and click "View".
2. Select the image/s you want to rename by selcting the check box under the image.
3. Click "Rename"
4. Enter your changes in the "Title" field under each photo.
5. When you're finished adding new titles, click "rename" to save the changes

Deleting a photo

You can delete photos in an album you created.

1. Select the album you wish to view and click "View".
2. Select the image/s you want to delete by selcting the check box under the image.
3. Click "Delete"
4. Next to the text "dlete selected photos?", click "Delete Photos":

Deleting an album

You can remove an entire album from your collection. If individual photos from the deleted album have also been collected in another album, you will still find them there.

To delete an album from your collection:

1. in My Albums, click the album you want to delete.
2. Click "Delete".
3. To confirm that want to delete the album, click "delete" again, if you would like to keep the album, click "Cancel"

Editing photos

To gain even more control over the apearance of your photos, you may want to edit the photos on your computer before copying them to our site. There are lots of different image editing programs available today that offer extremely good value for money - some are even free! Click for a list of free image editing software downloads

Most computer these days will have some kind of in-built image editing software package. Check your machine for these programs:

• Microsoft Picture Manager
• PhotoShop
• PaintShop
• Microsoft Paint
• Ulead Photo Impact
• Macromedia Fireworks
